Jing Zhao is a professor of
management information systems at China University of
Geosciences. Her research interests include Methodology for
Integrative Planning of Electronic Commerce Strategy and
Information System,
e-business implementation process,
Electronic
Business Models, E-Business Strategy and the Critical
Success Factors, and Electronic Markets. ¡¡
She has published many articles in Journals and
proceedings of international conference including the
Association for Information Systems 2000 Americas Conference
on Information Systems (AMCIS), McMaster 4th World Congress on
the Management of Electronic Business (2003) in Canada , IEEE
International Symposium on Technology and Society 2000 (ISTAS
2000), the European Conference on Research Methodology for
Business and Management Studies (ECRM 2002), International
Conference on Education and Information Systems (EISTA '03) in
USA and 5th International Conference On Enterprise Information
Systems (ICEIS 2003) in France. She has made presentations to
the Politecnico di Milano University in Italy, the College of
Business at Alfred University in USA and Kogod School of
Business at American University in USA. She has received
grants from NSF of China and the Ministry of Education of
Hubei Province in China. ¡¡
She chaired the session
software Agents and Internet Computing of the 5th
International Conference On Enterprise Information Systems
(ICEIS 2003) in France, and was General Chair of The Second
Wuhan International Conference on Electronic Business
(WHICEB2002,2004,2005,2006) in China, also served as an associate editor or
reviewer on journal and several conferences, including
E-commerce Research Journal,
HAWAI'I INTERNATIONAL
CONFERENCE ON SYSTEM SCIENCES (HICSS-37)£¬the Association for Information
Systems 2002 European Conference (ECIS2002), 2000 Australian
Conference (ACIS2000) and 2000 Americas Conference

Other Academic Collaborations include
co-directing and developing the electronic commerce course and
n-Tier architecture course with College of Business at Alfred
University, USA in May, 2000, Initiated a collaborative
research project between Alfred University and China
University of Geosciences on "Family Contribution to
Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in the Economy of
China" in October, 1999,
and ¡°E-Trade
Bridge Programme in Hubei Province of China¡± funded by
International Trade Centre (ITC), UNCTAD/WTO,
Switzerland, 2004.
